One of the best places to visit in California. See jaw-dropping views of granite cliffs, waterfalls, and giant sequoia groves.

Trail Notes
- Reserve valley campgrounds months ahead on Recreation.gov — cancellations pop up a few days out
- Enter the park before 9am to skip the worst entrance lines
- Free dispersed camping in Stanislaus National Forest just outside the Highway 120 entrance
- Tunnel View at sunset and Glacier Point at sunrise are worth planning the day around
- Use the bear lockers at every stop — never leave food in the Jeep overnight
