Trail Notes

  • The east and west entrances don't connect by road — use the east side for camping
  • Bring headlamps for the Bear Gulch talus caves (seasonal closures for bats)

  • Spring weekends sell out the campground — reserve ahead
  • Raccoons raid camp kitchens here; lock food in the Jeep at night
